Project narrative

On September 22, 2023, the Chinese Government awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship to two distinguished members of the Samoa Audit Office (SAO) to pursue Master’s degrees in Government Auditing at Nanjing Audit University in China. One recipient began her studies in August 2023, while the other was set to start shortly afterwards. Their selection marks the 7th and 8th nominations from SAO for this esteemed program, reflecting SAO’s ongoing commitment to professional development and international collaboration in auditing. The scholarships are made possible through the support of the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the China National Audit Office, and NAU, strengthening ties and capacity-building efforts between Samoa and China.
