Project narrative

In 2023, the People's Liberation Army sent a 10 member team from the Xijing Hospital of the PLA Air Force Medical University to the Military Hospital 103 in Laos. The team stayed in Laos for a six month mission, leaving in June 2023. On March 22nd 2023, the medical team conducted a training on emergency medical response for staff members of the Laos-China Railway Co. in Vientiane. The goal of the training was to improve the emergency medical response ability of the railway operation team. The medical team also performed specialized neurosurgeries on three patients in collaboration with Laotian neurosurgeons.
