Project narrative

Beginning on February 17, 2023, the Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering in China will provide a training to Lao students entitled “Information Security Technology Application Major.” The training will last three years and, at the end, the students will receive a certification from the vocational college. The training is part of a larger MOU for technology education cooperation signed by Chongqing College and the Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications on the same date. Signatories included Mr Phonpaseuth Phitsamai, Director of the Research Institute for Smart Technology, Prof. Xing Kunlun, Deputy Director of Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering, and Mr. Allan Yang, Vice President of the Lao-China Economic Trade Promotion Association and Chairman of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
