Project narrative

Beginning on August 31, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Sudan donated 2,000 books in Chinese and Arabic to four Sudanese universities—500 books each to the University of Bahri, Karary University, Sudan University of Science and Technology, and the University of Khartoum. These donations were used to establish "Ambassador Reading Rooms" at each institution, which were inaugurated between June 15 and June 22, 2022. The initiative aimed to strengthen educational resources and promote cultural exchange between China and Sudan. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
