Project narrative

In 2015, the Palabora Mining Company invested 7 million South African Rand into building the Pheland Health and Wellness Disease Management Centre in Namakgale, which addresses HIV/AIDS as well as other ailments. This clinic is one of the largest in the Namakgale township and was part of Palabora's This investment resulted in Palabora Mining Company as a finalist in South Africa's national business of the year award. The project began in 2012, and the first operations at the Phelang Centre began in 2014.
