Project narrative

On September 27, 2023, during a parliamentary session, MP Chyngyz Ajibayev reported delays in the construction of Tugolbai Ata Street in Bishkek, which is financed by a Chinese government grant. The project aims to extend Tugolbai Ata Street to April 7 Street to alleviate traffic congestion in the city. Despite the allocation of funds, the project has experienced delays, prompting calls for greater transparency regarding its progress.
