Project narrative

On February 18, 2022, Palabora Mining Company held a scholarship award ceremony and awarded 153 study scholarships to students in the local community, expanding its scope to a variety of disciplines in addition to mining-related research. As of the end of 2022, the value of these bursaries is estimated at more than R20 million. Palabora Mining Company aims to improve the technical and skill level of employees to a higher level and encourages local citizens to pursue a higher level of education and learning to meet the needs of the industry.
