Project narrative

In 2015, the Akimat of Aktobe and CNPC-AktobeMunaiGaz signed a memorandum of understanding to build the Aktobe Youth Palace Performing Arts Center. The purpose of the project was to build a 9,500 square meter 3 story performing arts center. The complex hosts youth programs, seminars, conferences, concerts, film screenings and art performances. Construction was reported to cost 1.3 billion tenge. In 2016, construction began on the performing arts center. In 2017, construction was completed and the center was handed over.

1. The project is known as the Aktobe Youth Palace. In Kazakh, the project is known as the Ақтөбе Жастар сарайы or the Ақтөбе Өнер орталығы. In Chinese, the project is called the 阿克纠宾艺术中心. 2. The precise dates of this project are unknown- this issue requires further investigation.
