Project narrative

In 2023, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and the Government of Timor-Leste signed a grant agreement for the China-Timor-Leste Friendship Field Rehabilitation Project. The purpose of the project was to construct a swimming pool at the Presidential Palace in the capital city of Dili. Shanghai Construction Group was the EPC contractor responsible for project implementation. The project commenced on September 5, 2023 and concluded on November 24, 2023.
