Project narrative
In July 2015, a syndicated of four known lenders — Mizuho Bank, China Construction Bank (CCB), Commerzbank, and Standard Chartered Bank — entered into a $300 million USD senior loan agreement with Shinhan Bank for unspecified purposes. The facility carried a maturity period of 2.5 years. CCB joined as a mandated lead arranger. In addition to CCB, Mizuho led the facility, and Commerzbank and Standard Chartered also joined as mandated lead arrangers.
Staff comments
1. The exact contributions to the syndicate are unknown. For now, AidData has assumed CCB's contribution by assuming that each of the four known lenders contributed equally to the syndicate ($300,000,000 / 4 = $75,000,000). 2. AidData accessed the source and archived the information used for this record prior to the link breaking. This issue merits further investigation.
