Full Description

Project narrative

In January 2020, a two-lender syndicate of the Poland and Luxembourg Branches of the Bank of China (Luxembourg) S.A. issued a €120 million EUR loan to two borrowing entities, which owned several immovable real estate properties and assets in several Polish cities, to refinance two loans accrued by the two borrowers. This loan was secured (i.e. collateralized).

Staff comments

1. The individual contribution from each branch of BOC (Luxembourg) to the EUR 120 million syndicated loan is unspecified. For the time being, AidData assumes that each branch provided an equal share of the contribution (EUR 60 million each).
