Project narrative

On August 27, 2020, Bank of China contributed to a USD 500 million syndicated senior loan to Antofagasta PLC for refinancing and general corporate purposes. Export Development Canada, Scotiabank, BNP Paribas, Natixis, Santander, and BancoEstado are also lenders on the syndicate. The loan had a maturity of 5 years and an interest rate of LIBOR six-month rate plus 2.25%. All other loan terms are unknown.
