Project narrative

On March 26, 2018, ICBC, HSBC, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation closed on a USD $250 million revolving credit facility with AES Gener, a subsidiary of AES corporation and a producer and distributor of electricity in Chile. ICBC contributed USD $120 million to the syndicate. HSBC and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation contributed $65 million, respectively. The purpose of the loan and loan terms are unknown.
