Description

In February 2007, President Hu Jintao on a state visit to Mozambique announced after discussions with Mozambican President Armando Guebuza that China EximBank will provide a $40 million USD soft loan for Mozambican public infrastructure. During the same visit, President Hu Jintao also announced the cancellation of all of Mozambique’s debt to China, a total of RMB 294 million (see linked ProjectID#33903).
