Project narrative

In 2005, China National Aero Technology Import and Export Corporation, Catic, a company that manufactures jet fighters, helicopters, including general aviation aircraft, vowed to make Namibia self-reliant in the fields of power transmission, vessels, port equipment and airport infrastructure. The company also vows to produce up to seven qualified Namibian pilots by the year 2007. It is unclear if the project was completed.
