Description

Following the derailing of a passenger train carrying more than 1,000 people in the central district of Dodoma on June 24, 2002, the Chinese embassy in Tanzania decided to grant 10 million TZS for a rescue operation. The announcement was made by Wang Yongqiu along with a message of condolence. The status of this rescue mission is yet unknown.
