On June 24, 2008 the Chinese Ambassador to Togo, Yang Min presented anti-malaria drugs to the Togolese Minister of Health, Charles Kondi Agba. The donation was made up of oral and injectable drugs valued at over 33 million West African CFA francs. This was the second donation of drugs that China offered to Togo, according to the measures proclaimed by the Chinese government during the Beijing summit, during the forum on the Sino-African cooperation in November 2006.
