Description

On February 4, 2002, Nigerian Minister of Commerce Mustafa Bello received the Shanghai Municipality delegation led by Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Zhou Muyao. Zhou pledged $120,000 to alleviate the sufferings of the explosion victims in Lagos. The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria was tasked with working on the modalities for the release and disbursement of the money. The status of the donation is uncertain.
