Project narrative

In 2003, the Chinese Government granted an unspecified amount of money for a housing project in Zanzibar's West District. The project involved the construction of four three-story residential buildings, one shop, one pump house, exterior roads, and fences, covering 3,162 square meters. China Jiangxi International Economic and Technical Cooperation Corporation was the contractor responsible for project implementation. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on January 18, 2003 and works were complete by January 4, 2004.
