Project narrative

On 16 February, 2000, the Chinese Government donated office equipment worth RMB 5 million ($604,000 USD) to the Zimbabwean Ministry of Finance. Specifically, the equipment donated included 107 computer sets, 80 printer sets, 4 'heavy duty duplicating machines', and an undisclosed amount of internet facilities. At the handover ceremony, the Chinese Government was represented by the its Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Huang Guifang, and the Zimbabwean Ministry of Finance was represented by the Senior Secretary of Finance, Charles Kuwaza. This project is completed.
