Description

In 2006, the Chinese Government sent a chartered jet filled with engineers to build a mobile telecommunications network in Ghana for Millicom. This deployment was apparently undertaken in support of China Mobile Communications Corporation’s acquisition of Millicom International Cellular (MIC), which operated in Ghana under the brand name ‘Tigo’.
