Full Description

Project narrative

In 2011, the Government of Kenya secured a grant from the Chinese Government worth 1.5 billion KES. The proceeds of the grant were to be used to construct 800 residential units in Kisumu and hostels for female students at Masinde Muliro University in Kakamega. The Ministry of Housing said they were seeking competent contractors to complete construction within a year, but the implementation status of the project is unknown.
