In August 2002, the Chinese Government and the Government of Morocco signed an agreement regarding a donation of equipment worth RMB 800,000 ). It is unclear what type of equipment was donated or for what purpose(s). The agreement was signed by the Moroccan Prime Minister, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, and the Chinese Premier, Zhu Rongji.
