Project narrative

On June 18, 2006, the Chinese Government and the Government of Ghana signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), dispatching the first Chinese medical team to Ghana. Then, the two governments signed a protocol agreement on July 26, 2007. The 1st Chinese medical team included 11 doctors from hospitals in Guangzhou who were stationed at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. They completed their term of service between December 30, 2009 and December 28, 2011.
