Project narrative

On June 30, 2009, the Chinese Government announced that it would offer 16 annual scholarships for Zimbabwean students to pursue post-graduate degrees in science. The scholarship program was announced by the Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Yuan Nansheng, as well as the Vice President of Zimbabwe, Joice Mujuru. The value of these scholarships as well as the project's current status are unknown.
