Description
On April 19, 2007, it was announced at the China-Africa Cooperation Forum that the Chinese Government planned to construct two schools in rural areas of Zimbabwe. In 2011, China’s Ministry of Commerce provided a RMB 10 million grant to the Government of Zimbabwe for the Chiwaridzo Primary School and Warren Park D Primary School Construction Project. This project involved the construction of Chiwaridzo Primary School (also known as Bindura Primary School) in Mashonaland Central Province and Warren Park D Primary School in Warren Park, a suburb of Harare. This project was officially completed and handed over to the Zimbabwean authorities on 28 September, 2011. The Chinese project title is 援津小学校项目 or 的援津小学. This project is completed.
