Project narrative

In November 2008, CNPC signed an agreement with the Upper Nile State region of Sudan to donate 3 million USD for local infrastructure improvement, including highways. On January 9, 2009, the foundations were laid for the Upper Nile State Conference Center Fitness and Culture Center, an initiative of CNPC. Additional subprojects or the financing breakdown of this grant are unknown.
