On September 21, 2002, in Khartoum, Sudan, Sudan's Minister of International Cooperation, Yusuf Takana, and China's Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade signed an agreement for a grant of 2.5 million USD for the rehabilitation of the Radiotherapy Hospital among other services and development projects.
