Project narrative

On September 3, 2008 China granted Togo 300 million FCFA in material and financial assistance to repair the damages caused by floods at the end of July in several provinces in southern Togo. The donated materials included tents, motor-pump, boots, computers, blankets, and waterproofing material. The donation ceremony took place at the customs yard at the International Airport of Lome in presence of the Chinese ambassador, Yang Min, and the Minister of Cooperation, Gilbert Bawara.
