Project narrative

On July 7, 2003, China donated 53.3 tons of ginger seeds to the Sierra Leone Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Trade and Industry. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. The seeds were then distributed to farmers in the traditional ginger growing districts of Moyamba, Kambia, Freetown, Bombali, and Port Loko.
