Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On January 31, 2007, China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) President, Jiang Jiemin, signed an agreement with Sudan to spend $900,000 to help Sudan's Ministry of Energy and Mining train local oil professionals. The current status and start and end dates are unknown. In the same agreement, CNPC agreed to give a grant to Sudan's government (See Record ID#2401). This project is linked to Record ID#25032, which captures a similar CNPC and MEM agreement for oil training in 2006.
