Project narrative

On July 12, 2011, the head of Nantong Company and the Sudan Deputy General Director of city projects signed an contract worth 90 million USD for the establishment of an Africa Technological City. The project was reportedly financed by a China Eximbank loan of an unspecified value. It is unclear when or if China Eximbank ever formally signed a financing agreement. All other project details are unknown.

Staff comments

$90 million USD captures the contract amount, not the loan commitment. Therefore, AidData does not code a transaction amount for this project.
