Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2012, the Government of Cameroon secured a grant worth 80 million CNY from China's Ministry of Commerce -- via China Development Bank (CDB) -- to conduct a feasibility study for the construction of a public technical agricultural high school for agriculture located in Yabassi, Nkam division, Littoral region. The site was also examined by the Minister of Secondary Education. This was the first of 2 grants from the Chinese government for this project; the second was given on July 13th, 2015 (see linked Record ID#59249). This project was completed on January 9, 2017. According to the 25 September 2012 agreement, this project's funding comes from three ETCAs: 31 January 2007 (Record ID#58869) 12 January 2011 (Record ID#31245) 25 September 2012 (Record ID#59001)- 50 million CNY to fund the school's construction and other unspecified joint projects
