Project narrative

In 2012, the China Airport Construction Corporation announced it would build a new international airport in Maferinya, about 75 km from the capital of Conakry. The airport will reportedly be financed by the Export-Import Bank of China and will be about 12 km long and 5 km wide. The current status of the project is uncertain.
