Project narrative

In 2011, the People's Republic of China donated 3,963,880,000 CFA francs to the Republic of Congo. The related agreement was signed on December 29 in Brazzaville by the Chinese Ambassador to Congo, Li Shu Li, and the Congolese Minister of Finance, Budget, and Public Portfolio, Gilbert Ondongo. The donation is intended to fund projects that would be determined later by the two parties, according to the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
