Description

In or around 2012, the Chinese Government agreed to provide a $3.8 million grant to the Government of Eritrea for the Erafaile (عرافيلة) Elementary School Construction Project. Nanchang Foreign Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNFEC) signed the implementation contract on September 11, 2012. In April 2013, a cornerstone-laying ceremony took place. Construction took place between June 20, 2013 and completed in June 20, 2014. An official inauguration ceremony took place on June 21, 2014 and the school was renamed the China-Eritrea Friendship Primary School.
