Project narrative

In December 2012, the Chinese government pledged two 50 million RMB (16 million USD) grants to Rwanda. The second of these grants is captured by Record ID#30729. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation for Rwanda, Louise Mushikiwabo, signed an agreement with the Chinese Ambassador to Rwanda, Shu Zhan. During the same signing ceremony, China pledged to give an interest-free loan of 120 million yuan. (Record ID#30175).
