Project narrative

In November 2007, Chinese UN peacekeepers began work on the construction of the 3km China-Sudan Friendship Road in Ed Daein, East Darfur State of Sudan. The road was built with Chinese personnel and equipment; the peacekeepers also helped the local people drill wells, treat illnesses, provide medicines and build a China-Sudan Friendship School. Construction of the road finished in December 2013.
