Project narrative

On November 27, 2013, the Chinese Ambassador to Djibouti, Fu Huaqiang, handed over a a $100,000 donation to the Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Mahboub Maalim. According to the Ambassador, the donation is for IGAD "allocate and use these funds on the basis of its priority needs."
