Project narrative

On January 2, 2000, China and Uganda signed a grant agreement for human resource support for Jinja Hospital worth $966,174.24. China sent multiple medical teams to Jinja Hospital after this grant commitment was made. However, according to the Aid Management Platform (AMP) of the Government of Uganda's Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, only $292,911.54 (34%) of the grant commitment was actually disbursed as of June 14, 2009. Jinja Regional Referral Hospital, commonly known as Jinja Hospital, is a hospital in the city of Jinja, eastern Uganda.
