Project narrative

On December 12, 2013 the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria donated 2 million Nigerian naira to the Nigerian Red Cross Society. The donation was for the sensitization and mobilization of 12,600 people in Tarka Local Government Area (LGA) and Katsina-Ala Local Government Area (LGA) within Benue State. Bello Diram, Secretary-General of the Nigerian Red Cross Society said at the time that 30 volunteers would reach 1800 households for HIV testing, awareness, and referrals to local health institutions.
