Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2009, the Chinese embassy granted a Chinese-language multimedia classroom in the Nouakchott University of Mauritania. The classroom and equipment were handed over on April 8, 2009, but it is unclear when the project began. Donated equipment included copiers, televisions, projectors, computers, and other equipment, worth a total of about $17,000. The goal of the Chinese classroom is to promote Chinese language studies in Mauritania.
