Description

Description: According to a media report published in December 2013, China Sinopharm International Corporation, and CSIC's local partner, Pharmken Ltd, pledged to construct a new hospital in Mombasa that will focus on oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, and renal medicine. While a firm financial figure was not discussed, a budget between $30-50 million (2.58-4.3 billion KSh) was proposed. This project is a part of an effort to provide greater medical coverage across Kenya.
