In 2004, the Chinese Government committed $3,624,506.01 of grant funding for “institutional support” to the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Aid Management Platform (AMP), $3,624,720.59 was eventually disbursed for this project.
