Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

According to a media report on October 17, 2001, the Chinese government provided Cambodia with 30 sets of criminal detection equipment worth 550,000 CNY (67,400 U.S. Dollars). The equipment will be distributed so that each province or municipality has one. The government of China signed the receipt for delivery of equipment with the Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The equipment is very important for the Ministry of Interior to detect criminal cases, since in the past criminal evidence must be sent to neighboring countries, such as Thailand, to be detected.
