Project narrative

In the second half of 2000, Cambodia suffered from the worst flooding in over 70 years. In response, on 7 December 2000, officials representing the Chinese Government of the Government of Cambodia signed an exchange of notes committing 5 million RMB for unspecified relief goods. This is the second donation from the Chinese Government for disaster relief in Cambodia following the 2000 floods. The first donation is captured in Record ID#32065.
