As of 18 June 2015, the proposed optic cables have been installed and are up and running, but the extent of ZTE's involvement in financing remains unknown. No details are give on whether ZTE's participation in the CEAP project is a form of free-standing technical assistance to the Cambodian government or whether their services were contracted.
