Project narrative

In 2006, the Chinese Government and the Ghanaian Government signed a MoU on China sending medical teams to Ghana. The official documents were signed in 2007. The first medical team consist of 11 doctors from hospitals in Guangzhou. They arrived in Accra on Dec.30, 2009, and additional members arrived on Mar.9, 2010. The medical team would be working at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. On June 22, 2011, the 1st medical team donated 870,000 RMB to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (captured in #32345).
