Project narrative

On 20 March 2011 and 6 April 2011, the Chinese and Sudanese government officials signed an exchange of letters for a project to build housing units for doctors at Ad-Damazin Friendship Hospital in Blue Nile State. The Chinese Government provided a grant of an unknown value to finance this project. On 15 May 2012, Qingjian Group Co. Ltd. and the Sudan Ministry of Health signed the implementation contract. The project at Ad-Damazin Friendship Hospital includes 44 housing units for doctors, with simple furniture and equipment. On 20 November 2013, the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan signed a certificate officially handing the housing facilities over to the Sudanese Ministry of Health.
