It sought to increase the hospital’s capacity from 232 beds to 300 beds. Xinjiang International Economic and Technical Cooperation was the contractor responsible for implementation. The project commenced on July 20, 2008 and ended on October 31, 2010. A formal project handover ceremony took place on February 5, 2010.
